This is my very first pixel art illustration.
It was great fun to do.
I've tried pixel art before but haven't liked the results, but now I found the perfect online drawing tool for this:
Piq - pixel art creator by Codeus.
I drew two pictures using Piq and then took them to Photoshop where I combined them and added some color to the background.
When I was drawing this I was thinking of a book that I really liked as a child: The Magician of Cracow by Krystyna Turska, here's a picture from the book, there's the moon and the spider.
