Everyone knows that the Early Bird catches the worm, but what happens when the Late Bird wakes up at night?

Bit of recycling (it's always a good idea). Bringing back a picture made couple of weeks ago on a collaboration with artist Ojni from Hungary.

I was really having a struggle with this week's word "clique". I was thinking it's a really negative word, it's a group of people that's exclusive, that others can't be part of. But with Ojni's help (köszönöm Ojni!!!) I now understand that this word can have a really positive meaning too. It can also mean very close friendship, that comes from sharing same interests, trusting and maybe admiring one another.

I admire Ojni's works a lot and it was a great honor and surprise when she asked me to collaborate this way. And I must say I like the results.

This is exciting! My very first collaboration...
Cserháti Hajnalka, "Ojni" from Hungary who paints these beautiful, beautiful pigeons came up with this great idea: The bird you see here is a friend of one of Ojni's pigeons and in one week we'll both bring our birds together so that we'll both make a collage where these two birds will be together. There's no doubt these two pictures will be very different and it will be very exciting to see what happens. To be continued...

This week's theme was difficult for me because I feel anything but sour.

I just got back from a WONDERFUL and adventurous holiday in Portugal and there was this letter waiting for me that told me I had finally after a struggle graduated. During the winter I doubted that it would never happen and I was desperate - but it did! No more sitting by the computer writing just because I have to. I'm free and happy!!

Great theme this week!

The symbol of the town where I was born is a coat of arms that has a picture of Pyhä Martti, Saint Martin. Legend tells that Saint Martin, a soldier at that time of his life, saw a beggar by the road. It was a cold winter's day and the poor man was half naked. So Martin took his own cloak and cut it in half and gave half to the beggar.
I've always liked that legend. Martin was a pretty decent guy :)
(But what about his horse?!)
